NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has said that the criticisms of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, is unfair; and that the Ukraine leaders should stop criticising him.

"I have often told Zelenskiy that he should stop criticising Olaf Scholz, because I think it is unfair," global news agency Reuters wrote quoting NATO Secretary General.

Zelenskiy reportedly is sulking after his request to Germany to provide long-range Taurus cruise missiles, was met with hesitation by Scholz despite Germany being an ally of Ukraine. Zelenskiy wants to use the long-range missile against Russia. Scholz also had a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin in November, which Kyiv saw as a distraction in isolate Putin to end the war.
