U.S. Vice President Vance for close U.S.-India Ties

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on Tuesday that if U.S.-India worked together successfully, “we are going to see the 21 st century that is prosperous and peaceful” but if not, “the 21st century could be a very dark time for all of humanity".

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on Tuesday that U.S.-India bilateral relations and trade were important for both the nations and if the two nations worked together successfully, “we are going to see the 21 st century that is prosperous and peaceful” but if not, “the 21st century could be a very dark time for all of humanity".

Vance was in the north-Indian city of Jaipur on Tuesday where he interacted with students, traders, government officials and politicians.

Vance also praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi several time in his address and said that Mr. Modi is “a special person”.

The U.S. wants India to buy from it more energy, cars and defence equipment. Vance believed that U.S. President Donald Trump’s balancing tariffs will produce great benefits for the people of India.
