U.S. Secretary General says Israel must Stop Bombing Syria

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has criticized Israel’s continued bombing of fallen Syria to destroy its strategic weapons, saying that Israel should immediately stop the bombings, news reports have said on Thursday. According to the reports, Syria is a sovereign nation with territorial integrity and every other nation should respect a nation’s sovereignty.

After the fall of Syria autocratic ruler Bashar al-Assad through a civil war led by Islamic groups, the power in the strategically important Middle-East country had been captured by the Islamic groups. However, every other nation, particularly the U.S., Israel, Turkey, and the West, has its own interest and is dealing with Syria in the way it pleases it.

"Syria's sovereignty, territorial unity, and integrity must be fully restored, and all acts of aggression must come to an immediate end," news organisations reported quoting Guterres.
