US elections: Both camps have Indian link

Indian opinion is all set to be divided between both arch rivals Republicans and Democrats over US presidential election. While person of Indian origin, Kamla Harris, now the vice president, is set to be Democratic nominee, Republican candidate Donald Trump has picked JD Vance as his running mate. Vance is husband of Usha Chilukuri Vance, whose ancestry too is linked with India.

However, Europe would be more worried if Trump-Vance comes to power. Like Trump, Vance too has repeatedly criticized NATO and its European members for not spending enough on defense.
