U.S. Accuses Iran of Trying to Hack Trump’s Campaign

U.S. has charged Iran of hacking Republican candidate and Former President Donald Trump’s election campaign. The justice Department on Friday labelled three members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps with criminal charges of wire fraud, identity theft and computer fraud. The U.S. also has said that all this is being done with an aim to disrupt November 5 presidential election.
Trump has been open with his support to Israel while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, has been discrete with her stand vis-à-vis Israel-Hamas, in that she has asked Israel to go for ceasefire owing to the humanitarian crisis its war with Hamas has created in Gaza Strip.
Iran-backed Hezbollah has in recent days been devastated by Israeli attacks including communication device detonation that left many dead; and killing of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah a few days back.
Iran, however, has said that the accusations cast upon it by the U.S. is baseless, news organisations reported.
