In one of its biggest attacks so far, Ukraine on Tuesday targeted Russian capital with drones and killed one person, brought about destructions in dozens of homes and forced over 50 flights to be diverted. Many airports in Russia remained shut for hours due to the attack by Ukraine.
Russia, on the other hand, according to news reported, destroyed over 20 Ukrainian drone attacks in Moscow region, and another over 120 drone attacks in other regions. The attacks were made reportedly during the night and Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, talking to press reporters, criticised the manner in which the attacks were made. "There is no way that night time strikes on residential neighbourhoods can be associated with military action," said Peskov, news organisations reported.
The war between the two countries, after today’s Ukraine attack, is set to intensify. “The Kyiv regime continues to demonstrate its nature. They are our enemies and we must continue the special military operation to protect ourselves from such actions," Peskov said.
