Ukraine says it shot down Russian missiles and drones

Ukraine on Monday said its air defence shot down six of the eight drones, and two out of three missiles Russia launched into its territories.

The attack from Russia was the fifth one in September alone, though no damage has been caused, Ukraine authorities, according to news organisations, said.

Russia in the past weeks has attacked Ukraine territories with hundreds of missiles and drones. Ukraine has sought support and arms from its allies to fight Russian aggression.
