Amidst too many turns and twists on the issue of ending Russia-Ukraine war, Ukraine Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said on Wednesday that her country is ready to negotiate to end the war, but not ready to surrender.

According to reports, her stand referred to a U.S. proposal for a deal which would see Ukraine give up territories including Crimea currently occupied by Russia.

Svyrydenko wrote on X: "There will be no agreement that hands Russia the stronger foundations it needs to regroup and return with greater violence. Our people will not accept a frozen conflict disguised as peace".
