Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has called for an Islamic alliance against ‘expansionism’ of Israel, which he said, was a ‘growing threat’, news agencies reported.The Turkish President was speaking at an event of Islamic schools' association, near Istanbul. Erdogan said the “only step that will stop Israeli arrogance, Israeli banditry, and Israeli state terrorism is the alliance of Islamic countries." He said Turkey has taken steps to improve ties with Egypt and Syria in order to form a solidarity against Israel expansionism.
