U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has picked up top spy John Ratcliffe to lead the nation’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He also has been the co-chair of the Center for American Security, a think tank advocating Trump positions, and he advised Trump on security policy during the presidential election campaign.

“He will be a fearless fighter for the Constitutional Rights of all Americans, while ensuring the Highest Levels of National Security, and peace through strength,” Trump was quoted as saying by news organisations during the announcement of Ratcliffe for the top job.

CIA is the most-deadly spy organisation of the world that advises the American president on foreign and international security matters. Its primary mission is to collect, analyze, evaluate, and disseminate foreign intelligence to assist the President and US government.
