Trump dismisses Swift’s endorsement for Harris, praises Brittany Mahomes

American multitalented singer, songwriter and global superstar Taylor Swift, who has captivated the imagination of the audience with her lyrics and melodies, has endorsed Republican candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris, which has not gone down too well with Republican candidate Donald Trump.

Swift, who is become politically outspoken, endorsed Harris for Harris’s “calm” leadership quality and commitment to key issues such as LGBTQ+ rights and women’s health. Swift is a recipient of Grammy Award for album of the year for Midnights (2022).

Trump, meanwhile, has dismissed Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris and praised Brittany Mahomes. Interestingly, Swift and Mahomes have previously shown their friendship in public. Mahomes is a sports team co-owner and former soccer player in America who played as a forward for Icelandic club UMF Afturelding.
