U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday visited White House and sat down with long-time political rival and President Joe Biden to discuss transfer of power.
Biden promised smooth transition of power to Trump. "Welcome, welcome back," Biden is learnt to have told Trump at the start of their meeting, global news agency Reuters reported.
The two men have been arch rivals in U.S. politics and hold vastly different positions with regard to foreign policies, Russia-Ukraine war, among other things.
