U.S. Secret Service’s acting director Ronald Rowe will appear before a House of Representatives panel on Thursday to testify in the two failed assassination attempts of President-elect Donald Trump.

Two assassination attempts were made on the life of President-elect Donald Trump—one in Pennsylvania and another in Florida. A gunman fired eight shots targeting Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania in July, wounding Trump in the ear and killing an attendee. The gunman was shot dead by a Secret Service counter-sniper. In Florida, when Trump was busy playing golf, a gunman was planning to kill Trump, according to prosecution proceedings.

The panel probing the assassination bid include seven Republicans and six Democrats. The Secret Service’s zero lapse reputation was dented by the Pennsylvania incident that nearly killed President-elect Trump and actually left an attendant dead.
