Two superpowers U.S. and China want to level their differences that mostly arise due to their interests and stands on international affairs like Middle East and Ukraine, Chinese territorial claims from Taiwan to the South China Sea, and trades.A high-level talk aimed towards this began on Tuesday with U.S. President Joe Biden's national security adviser Jake Sullivan with China's top diplomat Wang Yi.
The exercise is being taken ahead of November 5 presidential election in the U.S. purposefully. Sullivan, according to news agency Reuters, said both countries would talk about areas of agreement and disagreement that "need to be managed effectively and substantively". Wang hoped that the relations between the two countries would move to a condition of stable, healthy and sustainable development.
