The U.S. Presidential election: ABC News or Fox News for a face-to-face debate

The U.S. presidential race is heating up and reaching interesting peaks with Democratic candidate Ms Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump pushing for their preferential broadcasters for a presidential debate that the U.S. electorate is long waiting for.

While the Democrats want Trump to come on ABC News, on 10 September, Trump camp wants to have the debate on Fox News, on 4 September. Earlier, the presidential debate between Trump and Joe Biden had been scheduled on ABC News on September 10—which the Democrats wants to maintain. Trump maintains that the slot naturally got “terminated” after Biden pulled off the race.

The U.S. goes to poll on November 5. Post U.S polls, the U.S. foreign policies are expected to see a shift and will affect the Middle-East, Europe and other countries.
