Around 10 million people in Cuba are in the dark for many days following the country’s power infrastructure collapse. On Sunday, Cuban authorities’ effort to fix the problem failed after the grid collapsed, reportedly for the fourth time, according to media reports.

The residents in parts of Cuba have been going through severe crisis of food, medicine and other basic needs, the media reports further said.

Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel, appearing on the national television on Sunday, urged his citizens to maintain discipline and civility as his men tried to fix the power problem.
