On Monday, officials of the two neighbouring nations held one round of talk, and more rounds of talks are expected before things are finalized.
After a clash of the two armies on the borders some four years ago, things had gone sour between the two nations, and after COVID New Delhi had suspended all flights services with China.
However, the end of 2024 saw a fresh beginning for the two countries and they entered into an agreement to maintain peace at the borders.
China is a big exporter of its goods to India and Indians nearly are addicted to cheap Chinese goods—a reason why only the cargo flights had been operating amidst poor bilateral relations.
