Asaad Hassan al-Shibani has been made the foreign minister, who would be heading crucial talks that many nations are holding with new Syria after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad.
According to news reports, quoting officials of the new administration, appointment of Shibani reflects the aspiration of the people of new Syria to establish political and business relations with the international community to bring peace and stability for their nation.
Shibani is a young man of 37, and a graduate of Damascus University. He led the political department of a rebel government in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib, according to news reports. So far, Ahmed al-Sharaa, the de facto ruler of Syria had ben himself dealing with foreign delegates directly.
