Spain has condemned Israel’s attacks targeting mobile communications system used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon saying that the act violates international humanitarian law and is a threat to the stability of the region, news organisations, quoting Spain foreign ministry, reported.
"We call for restraint on the part of all actors," Spain foreign ministry has said in a statement. "It's necessary to avoid a further escalation of violence and the risk of open war with unforeseeable consequences."
A few days back, European and Islamic nations had held a meeting to recognise Palestine nationhood. Many European countries have been asking Israel for ceasefire, but war appears to be escalating.
