A South Korean plane crashed on Sunday when landing after it skidded off the runway and slammed into a concrete fence, killing more than 100, news organisations have reported. The incident took place after the front landing gear failed to deploy.

The incident happened with fateful Jeju Air passenger plane that was carrying 181 people at the airport in Muan, about 180 miles to the south of South Korean capital Seoul.

South Korea in recent days has been passing through tough times, witnessing two presidential impeachments in the last few days, apart from this plane crash that is said to be one of the worst in aviation history of recent times.
