Amidst annoyed outburst by U.S. President Donald Trump over Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday, a high level Russian official, Kirill Dmitriev, is expected to visit Washington for talks this week with members of Trump administration.

According to reports that quoted Kremlin on Wednesday, Dmitriev might be meeting U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff too. Witkoff is playing crucial role in Ukraine-Russia peace deal while Dmitriev is the chief of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

Trump on Sunday had said that he was “pissed off” at Putin over the issue of ceasefire with Ukraine, and that if Russia blocked the peace process with Ukraine, he would consider imposing secondary tariff on nations who buy Russian oil. President Trump has already gone overboard to deal peace for Ukraine with Russia, but President Putin has been going slow.
