Russian rocket on Tuesday successfully launched two Iranian satellites into space and placed them on their planned orbit, reflecting the growing Moscow-Tehran close cooperation.
News organisations reported that the Russian rocket carrying Iranian satellites, blasted off from Vostochny launchpad in far eastern Russia, and within nine minutes, managed to put the satellites into their planned orbit in the space. Iran’s two satellites have been named Kowsar and Hodhod.
Ukraine and the West have been worrying about the growing cooperation between Iran and Russia. They had earlier even accused Iran of supplying weapons, including drones, to Russia for use against Ukraine.
