Russia stands by Iran against Israel

Russia’s Former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited Tehran for meetings with the president and senior security officials there. Shoigu, who now is the secretary of Russia’s security council, held a meet Iran’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian and major general Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri. Iran’s new president supposedly told Shoigu that, “Russia is among the countries that have stood by the Iranian nation during difficult times.”

While the U.S. has, as of now, been supporting Israel in the Israel Palestine war, Russia’s entry in the Middle-east crisis is making the situation more critical.
