In a big blow after U.S. paused aid to Ukraine, Russia fired more than 60 missiles and over 190 drones upon Ukraine in the night of Thursday.  According to reports, Ukraine military blocked over 30 missiles and 100 drones before they could hit their targets.

After the row with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenski, U.S. President Donald trump had paused military and other aids to Ukraine. Trump is seeking a swift end to the war, but European leaders have decided to stand behind Zelenski and offer him support in the war. In a summit that took place in Brussels on Thursday, the leaders pledged to step up security and increase defense spending.

Ukraine President Zelenski, meanwhile, has shown interest to mend his relations with Trump.
