Pope Francis on Sunday said that victims of sexual abuse by the Catholic clergymen in Belgium required more financial compensation, and the present allocation was ‘too small’, reported news agency Reuters.

Pope Francis visited Belgium to address the issue of sexual abuse by the clergy after being pressed by Belgium King Philippe and Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. The Pope also reiterated the Catholic Church's commitment to helping sexual abuse survivors.The Pope has also said that the church has ‘no place for abuse’.
