Political uncertainty In France; may Impact European Union

France was set for a political turmoil after the law-makers were all set to vote on a no-confidence motion to oust the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier on Wednesday.

According to news reports, France is going through financial upheavals that Barnier was working for a solution. France is a major economic power in the European Union and political turmoil in the country will have its impact on the economy of the Union. Another economic power in the Union, Germany, too is going through political uncertainty. The internal political crisis too is set to impact President Emmanuel Macron’s tenure, which is till mid-2027.
