Philippines Vice President Threatens to Get the President Killed, if she is killed

In what could be termed as only of its kind, the Vice President of Philippines has threatened to get the President killed, if she is killed, news organisations have reported on Saturday.

“Don’t worry about my security because I’ve talked with somebody. I said 'if I’m killed, you’ll kill BBM, Liza Araneta and Martin Romualdez. No joke, no joke,’” Sara Duterte, the Vice President of Philippines was quoted by news organisations as saying, without taking the full name of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Romualdez Marcos Jr., commonly referred to as Bongbong Marcos too or BBM.

Marcos ran for the presidential election with Sara Duterte as the vice president and won the election. However, soon the two fell apart over differences of opinion in handling issues with China.

Duterte is reportedly outspoken much like her father Rodrigo Duterte, the predecessor of Marcos. News reports said that the President’s security has been heightened after the public threat of his Vice President.
