Paris Olympics 2024 Sports commentator removed after sexist remark

Alleged sexist remark over Aussie swimmers at the Paris Olympics 2024, has cost veteran sports commentator Bob Ballard. He has been removed from his job at Olympic broadcaster Eurosport. As per reports, Aussie swimmers Emma McKeon, Shayna Jack, Mollie O'Calloghan and Meg Harris had just secured gold in 4x100m freestyle relay swimming by beating the USA and China. When they were making their way, Ballard is supposed to have commented on the team “finishing up”, “you know what women are like… hanging around, doing their make-up."
