Over 200 Prisoners Escape from a Pakistani Jail

In a fiction-movie style of escape, over 200 prisoners are said to have run away from a Pakistani prison in Karachi after snatching the firearms of the prison guards and carrying out a shoot-out when the prison authorities allowed the prisoners into the courtyard from their cells following an earthquake.

The incident took place on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. According to reports, one person has been killed in the shoot-out.
