Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a fiery speech in the chamber of the House of Representatives at the U.S. Capitol on July 24, 2024 in Washington, DC on July 24, seeking support against Hamas and Iran-backed armed groups in the war in Gaza, Palestine.
Netanyahu also condemned those Americans who protested against the ongoing war in Gaza. Netanyahu’s statements drew further protests and many top democrats boycotted his speech, which was further condemned by the protestors against the war. The war is nine months into it and Netanyahu said his country will continue with the war until final victory.
