The nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran was discussed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and visiting leader of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said, on Tuesday.

The on-going nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran was discussed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and visiting leader of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said, on Tuesday.

Oman is mediating between Iran and the U.S. on the nuclear conflict. The Oman leader was visiting Moscow on Tuesday.

The United States thinks that Iran is working on developing nuclear weapon while Iran maintains that it is engaging in peaceful use of nuclear energy. The U.S., not convinced in that stand, wants Iran to come to the negotiation table and enter a nuclear deal.

However, Russia being an ally of Iran, Russia that a strategic signed a treaty with Iran in January this year, wants to play its role.

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that if Iran did not enter a deal on nuclear issue, he will bomb Iran. Russia, however, maintains that the U.S. bombing Iran will be illegal.
