Amidst concerns of the U.S., NATO, and South Korea over deployment of North Korean troops alongside Russia against Ukraine, North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui on Tuesday arrived in Russia, news organisations have reported. She is visiting Moscow, but who she is scheduled to meet was not open.

The U.S., South Korea and the West had said it would be deemed escalation of war if Russia deployed North Korean troops in war against Ukraine, to which Russian President Vladimir Putin has already replied, saying that it was Russia’s business to decide who to deploy and whom not to.

South Korea and the NATO allies had said that an estimated 10,000 North Korean troops were training how to use Russian weapons.

With the joining of North Korean troops, analysts believe that Russia-Ukraine war is set to further escalate.
