North Korea has set a launcher ready to test an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) around the time of U.S. presidential election, news organisations have reported citing South Korean law-makers.

The ICBM test by North Korean is reportedly to highlight its strategic weapon development, according to South Korean officials.
