The non-cooperation movement that began yesterday in Bangladesh following government job quota conflict, turned into violent clash between protestors and ruling Awami League supporters in Bangladesh on August 4.

At least 32 persons are reported to have been killed in the violent clash that took place today, and hundreds of others injured. The protestors are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hassina.

The clashes broke out this morning when the protestors were carrying out a programme under their non-cooperation movement demanding the resignation of Sheikh Hassina. The programme faced opposition from the supporters of the Awami League, Chhatra League, and Jubo League activists—all of which are with the government.
