NETANYAHU-HARRIS MEET : Harris says she will ‘not be silent’

The Democratic front-runner for US presidential election and vice president Kamala Harris has pressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Netanyahu during his US visit, held a meet with the US Vice President.

Harris reportedly was frank and serious on the Gaza issue during her meeting with the Netanyahu. Harris’s statement said that she will ‘not be silent’. This meant that if she becomes the President of the US, the present US foreign policy by President Joe Biden, with regard to Israel’s war against Hamas in Palestine, will see a shift due to the humanitarian situation that Israeli war has created in Gaza. While Harris accepted that Israel has its right to defend itself, how Israel did so, did matter.
