Even as Russia maintained that the U.S.-Russia deal on Ukraine is not easy though political will is there, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) chief Mark Rutte has said that NATO offered unwavering support to Ukraine in its war against Russia.

Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO visited the Ukrainian city of Odesa with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Tuesday and made this observation in the backdrop of U.S. President Donald Trump trying to bring about a Russia-Ukraine peace agreement.

On Sunday, which was observed as Palm Sunday, Russian ballistic missile strikes reportedly killed 35 people and injured around 100 in the city of Sumy.

European Union has bolstered its support to Ukraine in the war against Russia after NATO’s principal partner U.S. reviewed its long-standing policy for Europe. United States President Donald Trump has maintained that Europe has to pay for its own security.
