Large Number of Palestinians Stranded on Highways

A large number of Palestinian people who had been displaced, have been stranded on highways waiting to go back home in Northen Gaza as Israel kept crossings closed accusing Hamas of violating ceasefire deals.

According to reports, some are on foot, other on vehicles including rickshaws trying to get back home they do not know whether their houses still exist. But they want to go back home as home is where they want to be, even by putting up tents.

Under the agreement worked out with Egypt and Qatar mediators and backed by the United States, Israel is to allow Palestinians displaced from the north to return to their homes.
