In one of the deadliest attacks since the war between Israeli and Lebanon-based Hezbollah, Israeli airstrikes on Monday killed 180, and more than 400 people wounded. News organisations reported that Israel struck 300 targets in Lebanon, and even warned residents to evacuate their homes as its strikes against Hezbollah widened.

According to news reports, thousands of Lebanese fled their homes, and the highways in southern port city of Sidon got congested with cars that headed towards Beirut. This is being termed as the biggest exodus since 2006.

Israel has already struck Gaza region of Palestine, fighting the Hamas, and has so far killed more than 40,000 including children since the war began between Israel and Palestine-based Hamas. Now, the focus has shifted to the south Lebanon.
