Israeli Troops Launch Ground Raids into Lebanon

Israeli troops on Tuesday launched ground raids into Lebanon, though they maintained that it was a “limited” ground incursion targeted only the Hezbollah stronghold.

News organisations reported that there is panic in Lebanon due to the ground incursion by Israeli troops, even as the ground incursion of Israel invited criticism of the world community.

while Britain has said that Israel should not be “bogged down” by Lebanon, Spain urged Israel to immediately halt the ground incursion. Foreign Minister of Spain Jose Manuel Albares said Israel should stop conducting ground raids in southern Lebanon to avoid an escalation of the conflict enveloping the wider region.
