Ceasefire does not seem to be in sight as Israel has continued its attacks on Gaza. Israeli attacks have killed at least 55 people and injured 192 others across Gaza in the past 24 hours, news organisations have reported.

On Friday, numerous towns and villages in Bekka Valley of Lebanon came under heavy attacks of the Israeli forces, killing dozens of people.

According to reports, over 43,000 people have been killed in Gaza and a huge number of people have been wounded. In Lebanon, likewise, over 2,500 people have been killed and another about 13,000 people have been wounded. Both in Gaza and Lebanon, people have been rendered homeless due to destruction caused by bombings, and people are left foodless.

U.S. Secretary of States Antony Blinken had, in the past days, visited Middle-East including Israel trying to bring about ceasefire. But Israel has given a deaf ear to U.S. advice too.
