Israeli planes on Saturday dropped leaflets over Gaza with the picture of dead Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and a message that said, “Hamas will no longer rule Gaza”.

Israeli forces continued to strike buildings in Gaza killing at least 32 people across the region, and destroying many buildings. On Friday, the Israeli forces had killed 33 people, mostly women and children, leaving more than 80 wounded in strikes that destroyed houses in Jabalia, according to media reports.

According to media reports quoting officials of Palestine, Israeli forces so have killed 42,500 and left another 10,000 uncounted deaths, apart from huge destruction of houses, causing of food, medicine and housing crisis.

The killing of Hamas leader who was the mastermind of October 7, 2023 attack over Israel that caused Israel-Hamas war, however, has not been able to dampen the resistance of Hamas. The Israel dropping the leaflets containing the picture of dead Sinwar among the people in Gaza is feared to further fuel resistance in the rank and file of Hamas. Media reports said that Hamas is looking for a suitable leader to fill up the rank of Sinwar.
