Israel Strikes Southern Beirut in Lebanon

Israeli strikes on Thursday hit suburbs in the southern Beirut, the only international airport in Lebanon. News organisations reported that the Israel military termed the area as Hezbollah infrastructure.

"Enemy warplanes launched nine strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs," news organisations reported, quoting Lebanon authorities. Israel had issued evacuation orders for residents of southern Beirut suburbs before hitting the area with airstrikes.

Israeli strikes have left over 2,600 dead in conflict since September this year. Meanwhile, in Gaza, the Israeli forces have expanded their offensive into Beit Lahiya.
