With the missile strike of Iran upon Israel, the Middle-East war has escalated; and Israel, according to news reports, is planning for a retaliation soon.

But U.S. President Joe Biden’s clear message that the U.S. will not support any plan of Israel to hit Iran’s nuclear sites has limited Israel’s options. It is being widely believed that Israel would choose to hit the oil refineries of Iran.

Iran’s Oil Minister, Mohsen Paknejad, meanwhile has said on Saturday that he is “not worried”. "I am not worried about the crises that the enemies of the revolution are creating, and this trip is considered a normal work trip," Paknejad was quoted by an Iran-based news agency as saying, news reports said. Paknejad's made the statement during his visit to Assaluyeh, an Iranian unit which is the world's largest offshore gas field, which Iran shares with Qatar across the Gulf.

Israel’s possible attack on Iran’s oil establishments will hike up oil prices further.
