The decision of Britain to suspend some arms license to export arms to Israel, has received sharp criticism from Israel establishments including the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who on Tuesday termed the act as a “shameful decision”. A day before, Britian’s foreign minister David Lammy had said that his government was suspending some 30 licenses that exported arms to Israel, for fear that the equipment could be misused to create serious humanitarian situations.

"This shameful decision will not change Israel's determination to defeat Hamas, a genocidal terrorist organization that savagely murdered 1,200 people on October 7, including 14 British citizens," Netanyahu said in a social media post. Israel during the last few months after it entered into a war with Hamas after Hamas’ attack, has reportedly killed over 40,000 Palestinians and created humanitarian crisis situation in Gaza Strip.
