Israel and Hezbollah War: Intense Ground Fight around Lebanon's mountainous frontier with Israel

Hezbollah on Wednesday said it had fired several rockets at the Israeli troops trying to advance in Lebanon territory and pushed it back near the village of Labbouneh in the western part of the border area, close to the Mediterranean coast, according to reports of news organisations. 

Israeli troops had given evacuation calls to Lebanon villages in a bid to advance into Lebanon. Reports of news organisations said that intense fight is on between the Israeli troops and the Hezbollah men on the ground.

Hezbollah, according to news reports, attacked Israeli soldiers in the village of Maroun el-Ras and fired missiles at Israeli forces advancing towards the border villages of Mays al-Jabal and Mouhaybib in Lebanon. The ground fights between Hezbollah and Israel are now spreading along Lebanon's mountainous frontier with Israel.
