Ire on Woman’s kiss of Bacchus statue in Italy.

Italy is witnessing an outrage after a female tourist’s picture of kissing statue of the Roman god Bacchus go viral. The woman tourist climbed up on the statue to kiss it. The statue of the Bacchus stands on a plinth on a street corner near the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge and is a modern replica of the 16th Century work by sculptor Giambologna. The original is kept in the nearby Bargello museum.
