Iran to Back Ceasefire Decision of Lebanon with Israel

Iran will support any decision taken by Lebanon for a ceasefire with Israel, news organisations have reported quoting senior Iranian officials.

According to reports, Tehran wants an end to the Middle-East conflict as its Lebanon ally Hezbollah has been very badly hit in the on-going war, by Israel. Israel, despite the world community and the United Nation’s request to step down offensive, has continued its offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. Lebanon capital Beirut has been Israeli target in the recent past, wherein Israeli strikes have brought many high-rises to the ground.

The two nations in recent past have exchanged missiles upon one another, and thereafter there has been no exchange of offensives against one another. However, Israel is still after Hamas and Hezbollah despite huge humanitarian crisis created out of the war.
