Iran has said on Thursday that U.S. elections offer and opportunity to review “wrong approaches”, indicating that the Donald Trump administration will review the approach taken by President Joe Biden that has left the entire Middle-East in flames.

“We had bitter experiences with various U.S. governments' past policies and approaches. Elections are an opportunity to review the wrong approaches of the past," news organisations reported, quoting Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said on Thursday.

Iran is in conflict with Israel and there have been attacks and counter-attacks in the recent past between these two nations. Joe Biden administration stood by Israel in the war between Israel and Iran, and now that Donald Trump will be at the helm of affairs, Iran and Middle-East expect a review.
