India exporting arms to Israel amounts to assisting genocide, says Lawer and Activist Prashant Bhushan

Renowned Supreme Court of India Lawyer and Human Rights activist Prashant Bhushan has said that India’s export of arms to Israel amounts to assisting genocide. Bhushan said export of arms that is used by the country exported for the purpose of genocide is violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India, guaranteed to every individual even if he or she is a non-citizen of India.

Article 21 of the Constitution of India, is a fundamental right, and it stands for Protection of Life and Personal Liberty. Bhushan was interacting with students of St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Kochi, India at a function organised by the college.
