Mr. President Donald Trump, a Republican.

• Susie Wiles, as White House Chief of Staff. She is the first woman to hold that post. She has been a Political Consultant, and was a senior campaign advisor to Trump.

• Marco Rubio, to be the Secretary of State. He is favourably disposed towards Israel; first Latino, a Cuban-American to go to that post. His pick for the post may go against Middle-East ceasefire and peace possibility.

• Scott Bessent, to be the Secretary of the Treasury. A Yale alumnus, is expected to advise Trump to consider softer approach to tariff, and reduction in deficit spending. A billionaire himself, he may advise Trump to tread cautiously on possible U.S.-China trade rivalry.

• Pete Hegseth, as the Secretary of Defence. A former Fox News host, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard, carries controversy for sexual assault and far-right extremism.

• Pam Bondi, as the Attorney General, a Former Attorney General of Florida. Bondi has been the first female attorney general in the history of Florida.

• Dough Burgum, Governor of North Dakota, to be the Secretary of Interior. Has been vocal about fossil fuel and energy issues.

• John Ratcliffe, as CIA director. He would be heading the intelligence organisation for foreign nations. He was the director of National Intelligence; faced controversy over declassification and counter-terrorism experience, which his office has denied.

• Tulsi Gabbard, to be the Director of National Intelligence. Is a former Congresswoman.

• Elise Stefanik, to be the Ambassador to the United Nations. She has been critical of the U.N. stand on Israel-Palestine war. The U.N. has often said that Israel has created humanitarian situation in Palestine.

• Cantor Fitzgerald, as the Secretary of Commerce. He is the CEO, Howard Lutnick (one of world’s leading financial service firms), a billionaire himself. His experience will guide Trump on economic growth of the nation, including job creation.

• Tom Homan, appointed to oversee deportation of illegal immigrants. Homan had been a Border Patrol agent for 34 long years and served in Trump’s first term. He was criticised for his strict enforcement of immigration law, which is supposed to have separated families. With him back in the job, deportation of immigrants is likely to be as severe as Trump promised in the campaign.

• Mike Walz, as the National Security Adviser. Waltz has held civilian positions at the Pentagon, was on the House Armed Services Committee and has supported Trump's isolationist view of foreign relations.

• Mike Huckabee, nominated as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel. A Former Fox News host, Huckabee is supposed to be favourably disposed towards Israel, and will not advise Trump against Israel’s positions. Peaceful solution to the Middle-East war does not seem in sight.
